Description

A reimagining of a 1967 mid-century home steeped in architectural and personal history. The client’s primary ask: don’t make it feel too perfect. The space held a unique sentimental value to her. “I remember riding my bike down the halls of this house as a child.”

To redefine the home and honor its history, the layout was reconfigured while retaining its original structure. Materials were chosen to create a more serene composition. Chalky clay walls, custom Zellige tiles, and raw brass fixtures feel both textural and storied, while original poured concrete floors give reverence to the homes past. Curated furnishings complement the neutral and coastal tones alongside ethereal hatched linen drapes lining the windows that lead to the internal courtyard, creating a perfectly-imperfect retreat.
